Up & In welcome MMA fighter, DD dad, and owner of Stunnas Fit, Gabriel "Stunna" Varona. We cover a number of topics including his experience with his son playing Little League, his Mixed Martial Arts career, and about his amazing training facility. He talks about the importance of recovery, the methods he implements to do so, and how big a part someone's mental state factors into achieving their fitness goals, or anything in general. This was a really cool interview. Mike and Armando also go over what's next for Trevor Bauer now that he's calling out the league for preventing a team to sign him.

The MLB season is just getting started, and the talk is all about Shohei Ohtani and gambling. The Japanese phenom dominated the off-season with his record setting contract, and now is all anyone can talk about after his interpreter Ippei Mizuhara was accused of stealing from Ohtani, and being involved with an illegal gambling operation where he is said to have lost $4.5 million. Is this on Mizuhara, or was he just the fall guy, and Ohtani was the one caught up in this? Ohtani says it wasn't him. We will tell you what we think. Also, predictions for the 2024 season. Will our picks be as bad as last season? Will Bauer sign with the Yankees? And we broke some news as it happened. Jordan Montgomery has a new team. This, and much more on Up & In.

The MLB Regular Season got underway, albeit very early in the morning. The first pitch happened before any of us had our coffee, and Mike had no clue what was going on. Imagine, it's 6am, you're getting your kids ready for school, and let's face it, you're not expecting live baseball that early, but hey, that's the case in 2024. We go over Ohtani's Dodgers debut in the win over the San Diego Padres. We talk about how to avoid balls going straight through your first base mitt. But the big topic was the firing of Shohei Ohtani's interpreter. He's accused of theft!!! Stealing from the hand that feeds you. What is going on here? Crazy situation, and i'm sure we haven't heard the end of it. We also check in on some late signings, including Blake Snell. Is this the end of Scott Boras as the top dog agent in baseball? also, Dolphins football, real estate, and much more. Including where you can take your kids to get their vision checked. Listen to Episode 74.
